By TLex Visconti have extended their Abyssus family, we've seen the Abyssus BRONZE, which is now known as the Abyssus Pro-Dive 3000M Bronze Ref. W108-01-131-1408 with its dramatic styling that puts me in mind of the Italian Supercar such as the Pagani Zonda.
Here's the new Abyssus Sport-Dive 3000M Ardoise Ref. W108-04-170-0020, a close relative of the above with its AISI 316L Stainless steel Monobloc case, micro-shot blasted and satin-finished with four steel lugs with a satin-finish.
The approx. dimensions of which include: diameter 45.mm; overall dimensions at crown 54.mm; height 57.9mm and thickness 17.8mm.
Divers features include: a screwdown crown (2 o'clock), a 5.mm thick, flat-convex Sapphire crystal, a rotational divers bezel with engraved dive-time scale, with external aluminum bronze saw-tooth and external rotation locking system (4 o'clock), an automatic Helium Escape Valve at 6 o'clock and a water-resistant to 300 ATM, the equivalent of 3000 meters.
The Sport-Dive’s dial is in black with orange and light brown detailing, luminescent hour-markers, minutes scale with bars on inclined rehaut.
The hands belong to an exclusive Visconti design: skeletonized hours and minutes luminescent coating; a flush central second hand and a skeletonized GMT hand.
The Sport-Dive is powered by a Visconti movement, the VI-AC264-02 Automatic Swiss Made, Glucydur balance wheel, 28.800 A/h; adjusted to 5 positions, average rate -5 +10 sec./day; soignée finish, self-winding mass with engraved Visconti logo; power reserve: approx. 42 hours. Dimensions: Ø 25.6mm.; thickness 5.1mm.
Its functions include: hours, minutes, sweep seconds; date window at 2 o'clock; power reserve display at 11 o'clock.
Finally this beautifully bonkers high-end Italian diver comes on a water-resistant sharkskin strap with an exclusive Visconti satin-finish AISI 316L Stainless steel clasp; alternatively, a Visconti Stainless steel flip-lock clasp.
